1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using hiMasjid ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access the Service.
You must be at least 18 years old or have parental/guardian consent to use this Service. By using hiMasjid, you represent that you meet this requirement.
2. Service Description
hiMasjid is a masjid (mosque) display management system that allows administrators to:
- Create and manage content playlists for TV displays
- Display prayer times with automatic calculations
- Broadcast emergency announcements
- Manage slides including announcements, events, and media
- Configure iqamah schedules and prayer time adjustments
The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time.
3. User Accounts
When you create an account, you must provide accurate and complete information. You are responsible for:
- Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
- All activities that occur under your account
- Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized access
- Ensuring your registered masjid information is accurate
One account is intended for one masjid. Creating multiple accounts for the same masjid or sharing accounts between multiple masjids is not permitted.
4. Subscription Tiers
hiMasjid offers different subscription tiers with varying features and limitations:
- Free Tier: Basic features with usage limits on slides, playlists, and storage
- Premium Tier: Enhanced features including instant sync, emergency override, and higher limits
Premium features may require a paid subscription. If you choose to subscribe to Premium features, billing terms and pricing will be displayed at the time of purchase. Payments are processed through Stripe, a third-party payment processor.
We reserve the right to modify tier features, pricing, and limitations at any time. Existing subscribers will be notified of material changes in advance.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree to use hiMasjid only for lawful purposes and in accordance with Islamic values. You agree NOT to:
- Upload or display content that promotes hate, violence, or discrimination
- Display false or misleading information
- Use the Service for commercial advertising unrelated to masjid activities
- Attempt to interfere with or disrupt the Service
- Use automated systems to access the Service without permission
- Violate any applicable local, national, or international laws
Content displayed through hiMasjid should be appropriate for all ages and suitable for display in a place of worship.
6. User Content
You retain ownership of all content you upload to hiMasjid, including slides, images, videos, and text ("User Content").
By uploading User Content, you grant hiMasjid a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, store, display, and transmit your content solely for the purpose of providing the Service.
You are responsible for:
- Ensuring you have the right to use and share all content you upload
- Backing up your own content
- Any copyright or intellectual property violations in your content
We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these Terms or is otherwise objectionable.
7. Third-Party Services
hiMasjid integrates with third-party services to provide its functionality:
- Aladhan API: For prayer time calculations based on your location
- Supabase: For data storage and authentication
- Stripe: For payment processing (Premium subscriptions)
We are not responsible for the availability or accuracy of these third-party services. Prayer times are calculated based on astronomical data and your configured settings; you should verify times with your local Islamic authority.
8. Disclaimers
Prayer Time Accuracy
Prayer times displayed by hiMasjid are calculated using astronomical data and standard calculation methods. These times are provided for convenience and may differ from times announced by local Islamic authorities. Always verify prayer times with your local masjid or Islamic organization for official timings.
Service Availability
While we strive for high availability, we do not guarantee uninterrupted access to the Service. TV displays are designed to work offline using cached data, but we cannot guarantee continuous operation in all circumstances.
Device Compatibility
hiMasjid displays are optimized for modern web browsers. We cannot guarantee compatibility with all TV models, smart displays, or other devices.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, hiMasjid shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to:
- Missed prayer times or incorrect prayer time displays
- Display errors or failures
- Loss of data or content
- Service interruptions
Our total liability for any claims under these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid us in subscription fees during the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
10. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice, for any reason, including if you breach these Terms.
Upon termination:
- Your right to access the Service will cease immediately
- Your data may be deleted according to our Privacy Policy
- You may delete your account at any time through the Settings page
11. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of material changes by posting the new Terms on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date.
Your continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
12. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Indonesia, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall be resolved through good faith negotiation. If negotiation fails, disputes shall be submitted to the competent courts in Indonesia.
